Divan (Divyang) Dave with Chief Minister Gujarat, India – Narendra Modi
Feb 20, 2005 – During the early 1990s, Narendra Modi served as an election organizer of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Mr. Modi helped to popularize the BJP party during the elections at Raj Bhavan. Narendra Modi, a personal friend of Divan (Divyang) Dave, inspired CEO of ISM, Mr. Dave to open a Software Development Center in Gujarat. ISM-AMD was opened in 2004 with more than 150 employees in Ahmedabad. Today, ISM owns and operates a state-of-the-art development center of 25,000 sq. feet area, to accommodate 500 employees on the prestigious C. G. Road, in Ahmedabad.
I came to the US from India in 1984 armed with two Masters Degrees (Chemistry and Computer Science), boundless energy and drive. I founded ISM in 1989 in Tarrytown NY, after a few years at companies including Thomson Financial Group where I rose quickly to an executive leadership role on a mission-critical application. I earned my third Masters Degree in Computer Science in 1986 from CUNY.
